Spinal Cord Injury Services
Outreach and education for individuals with spinal cord injuries, peer mentoring, and support groups designed to foster connection through shared experience, events, educational resources and activities.
These services are funded by a contract with the Arizona Governor’s Council on Spinal and Head Injuries.
SCI Basics
According to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, nearly 1 in 50 people live with paralysis. This page has basic information for people with spinal cord injuries as they start their journey.
Support Groups
Support for people living with spinal cord injuries to share experiences, connect with the community, and learn new resources.
Peer Mentoring
Navigating your world following a spinal cord injury can be challenging or overwhelming. Our SCI peer mentor services connect you with people who can share life experiences with you in one-on-one sessions.
Ability360 Presents: Adaptive Water Ski Day
Join us and Arizona Adaptive Water Sports out at Bartlett Lake for an adaptive water ski day! Enjoy the sights and sounds as you travel across the water. To ride the water ski, you must be one year post spinal cord injury, but if you want to join along the boat rides, it is more than welcomed!

University of Utah Study Participation
The University of Utah are looking for individuals who have a spinal cord injury (SCI) and their unpaid caregiver for a research study.
To qualify:
● The person with SCI must be injured for at least 6 months.
● Both the caregiver and person with SCI must be 18 years or older.
● Both the caregiver and person with SCI live together for at least 12 months.
● Must be able to read and understand English or Spanish.
